He founded Bloom global Corporation in Canada apart from leading several successful ventures. Widely lauded as an expert, he has featured in prestigious publications of the likes of Forbes magazine. Vivek firmly believes that businesses are made by people and relationships. His vision of spreading happiness and service excellence is embedded within the DNA of Fruitsy.
Katerina Akulenko
CEO of fresh produce marketing company New Marketing LLC, Katerina has nearly 2 decades of fresh produce marketing experience in Russia and the Asia Pacific region. She has helped numerous fresh fruit brands from the USA and New Zealand shape their market entry strategies and supported their marketing efforts across the vast Russian market. Over the past five years, Katerina has assisted global produce trading companies to develop relationships with importers, wholesalers, and retailers in the Asia Pacific region from her base in Bangkok, Thailand.
Rahul Petkar
President and CEO of Mississauga based Ishkan Inc., Rahul is a business leader with over thirty years of experience in the financial services and technology sectors spanning Asia, Middle East, North America, and Latin America. Rahul established Polaris Canada, an IT start-up that served all the major Canadian banks. As CEO, he established Intellect Design’s Latin American operations, bringing innovative retail payment solutions to the financial services and the retail industry. Rahul served as Director-International Development at TD Waterhouse, where he led the global expansion of TD’s brokerage and wealth management business to Japan, UK, Luxembourg, and Hong Kong. Rahul has also worked with Citibank and Merrill Lynch in the business and operations areas.
Nick Ierfino
Nick Ierfino is the founder of I&A Professional Corporation and served as its managing partner for over 30 years. Nick’s impressive career has been marked by successes in the fields of taxation, succession planning, and business advisory. He specialized in private enterprise consulting across many industries, particularly the construction industry and in developing corporate and personal tax planning strategies. Nick graduated from York University’s Schulich School of Business with a bachelor of business administration.
Rodrigo Duran
Rodrigo Duran is the Senior Adviser to the Boards of several fresh fruit grower-export companies in Chile. Also, He was Head of the Central Valley Office for Export Promotion at the Ministery of Agriculture, Agricultural Planning Office (ODEPA), 1976-1977, Head of Chile’s Institute for Export Promotion, (PROCHILE) Tokyo Office, 1979-1981. Chile’s Chemical and Mining Corporation (SQM), USA Office, 1982-1986. David Del Curto S.A, Fresh Fruit Export Company (DDC S.A.), 1986-2021. Eurobridge SpA, CEO and partner of a Fresh Fruit grower-export company and representative of foreign customers worldwide, 2022 up to date. He holds agriculture engineering degree with specialty in agriculture economics from Catholic University of Chile in 1969-1975.
